Can I buy the notebook and rollerball in different types of wood?
At the moment you can only buy one type of wood in the set. However, you can also add the products individually to your shopping cart and order different types of wood. Click here for the rollerball pen and the notebook. -
How do I care for the products?
The rollerball pen and the notebook are sealed with an oil, which protects them from moisture. The sealing makes them durable for several years. If you want to freshen up the wood, you can order the oil from our accessories.

What kind of wood do you use for the notebook?
We use wood from a German veneer supplier. We have a certificate from the German Environmental Agency, which certifies that the woods do not come from endangered stocks. The core of the wooden cover is beech wood from the Hessian forest.

What materials do you use for the rollerball pen?
The front golden part is made of high quality metal (brass) and the back part is made of solid wood. The refill is also made of metal with a ceramic tip. The wood from the rollerball pen is carefully selected by our manufacture in Austria and comes from local wood suppliers. These obtain the wood from sustainable sources, where the appropriate trees grow.

How can I change the refill?
You can easily unscrew the front part of the pen, take out the refill and replace it. -
How can I replace the paper insert?
You can simply pull the insert out of the built-in rails and replace it with a new one. You can find new inserts here or you can use standard A5 size ring pads from retail stores. -
Doesthe rollerball pen come with a refill?
Yes. Your rollerball pen comes with a black ink refill from Faber-Castell.

What paper is the notebook insert made of?
The insert in the bundle is dotted. We use FSC-certified paper, which is 100% recycled paper (Blue Angel certificate), yet bright white. -
How durable is the notebook?
The wood is resistant to moisture, as we have sealed it with a wood oil. This can of course be renewed by hand after 1-2 years.
The hinge has been designed so that it will never break when opened and closed. In addition, we have glued in small textile patches for many years of durability.
