Our manufacture
Local manufacturing is particularly important to us in order to ensure local quality and to support craftsmanship in Germany and the surrounding area.
Our manufacturers are usually not only business partners, but in the meantime also friends who identify with the products, like us JUNGHÖLZER. This is also reflected in the attention to detail in product manufacturing.
IT ALL STARTS WITH OUR WOOD
We offer, depending on the product, three colors of wood. Walnut, oak and padouk. We make sure that we get our wood from non-threatened forest area to work especially sustainable.
HOW IS ACTUALLY CREATED...
Our table is made with a lot of pressure and temperature. Thin layers of wood (veneers) are pressed at the molded wood expert. Then the contour is precisely cut out by machine and finished with a lot of handwork so that every edge is round and smooth. Finally, the surface is sealed with a very thin layer of varnish so that you can enjoy your laptop table for a long time.
The desk equipment is the newest member of our JUNGHOLZ family.
That is why we use only high quality solid wood, which is also particularly durable. The only exception here is the desk pad, which has a wooden surface. With a precision milling machine, the individual parts are brought to the right shape, the glue is applied and then joined together under high pressure. So that the surfaces are nice and smooth, they are sanded with a grinder and oiled by hand.
The rollerball pen is manufactured in individual steps with a great deal of heart and soul.
The solid wood is first roughly cut to the pen size. For the interchangeable pen refill, the blank is drilled out from the inside and the piece of wood is milled with machine precision into the unmistakable cigar shape. Finally, the surface is sealed several times with a natural oil and the brass cap parts are put on by hand and the Faber-Castell refill is inserted.
The wood of our notebook is pressed together from seven thin layers. This increases the stability and durability of our notebook.
The journey begins at our wood supplier in southern Germany, who prepares the wood veneer. After the wood veneer arrives in beautiful Dresden, it is laser cut to the right size, sanded and oiled with lots of love. Finally, the small parts are mounted on the wood and inserted into the inlay. Finished is the notebook!
Nothing is thrown away with us. Even from our wood scraps we produce noble accessories, such as our wooden jewelry, bookmarks or even breakfast boards.
